Athens Conservatoire [Odeion Athinon]

The Athens Conservatoire [Odeion Athinon] is the oldest educational institution for the performing arts in modern Greece. Founded in 1871 by the non-profit organization Music and Drama Association, it is settled in the iconic building designed by the famous architect Ioannis Despotopoulos.
 

The Athens Conservatoire’s premium location at the heart of Athens and its iconic “bauhaus” building, make it a unique and enviable cultural hub for various contemporary arts and cultural events.

Located in the heart of downtown Athens, AC is in close proximity with the Presidential Mansion, the Aristotle’s Lyceum, the Byzantine Museum, and the Greek Parliament. The Venue is located in the heart of downtown Athens and easily accessible by public transport and car, while several parking spaces are available nearby (see location on map).
